The New York Times Books section has a hilarious article this week, about which politicians should read which sci-fi novels.

On the one hand, it's very funny to see what they've paired with whom.  But to me, the funniest thing was the spin the authors put on the plots of classic SF novels.

Okay, so I just read an opinion piece on Wired online, about how using scientific language to describe evolution only serves to further confuse the issue, and actually gives the creationists a potent weapon to use against the science.
